How do I request a quote?

Fill in the form on our contact page or give Samuel a ring. Tell us your suburb, roughly how big the lawn or garden is, and what you'd like looked after. Photos help a lot — a couple of shots of the front and back is usually enough to price standard mowing and maintenance without needing to visit.

Are quotes free?

Accepted Answer

Yes, always free and with no obligation. You'll get the scope and a fixed price in writing, and if the timing isn't right we'll leave the quote open rather than chasing you with follow-up calls.

Question 3

How quickly will I receive a response?

Accepted Answer

Enquiries that come in before 4:00pm on a weekday are usually answered within a business day, with a written quote to follow shortly after. Weekend enquiries are picked up first thing Monday.

Do I need to be home?

Not at all. Most of our clients aren't home when we visit. We just need reliable access — a gate we can open, or a code or key arrangement. If you'd rather be there for the first visit to walk us through the property, we're happy to book a time that suits.

What does a typical job cost?

Pricing depends on the size of the property, the condition it's in and how often we visit — regular rounds cost less per visit than a one-off catch-up, because there's less growth to deal with. Everything is fixed-price rather than hourly, so you know the number before we start, and we don't add green-waste or callout fees afterwards.

What services do you offer?

Do you provide regular maintenance?

Yes, and it's the bulk of our work. You're allocated a regular day and Samuel visits each time, with the frequency set to suit the property and the season. There's no lock-in contract; you can pause or change it with a phone call.

Can I book a once-off service?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. One-off tidy-ups are common before a sale, an inspection, a party or after a holiday. We'll tell you honestly if the garden would be better served by an occasional round instead, but there's no pressure to commit to anything ongoing.

Do you work on commercial properties?

We do. Alongside homeowners we look after rental portfolios for property managers, body corporate and strata common areas, small commercial frontages, childcare and community sites, and cemetery grounds. Commercial clients get consolidated invoicing and photo records for their files.

Do you maintain large or acreage blocks?

We handle larger suburban blocks and semi-rural properties up to around an acre with ride-on and commercial walk-behind equipment. For anything bigger — paddock slashing or broadacre work — we'll tell you straight away and point you towards someone better suited.

How often should my lawn be maintained?

Through the local growing season — roughly October to April — most lawns look their best on a fortnightly cut, and fast-growing kikuyu or a heavily fertilised couch lawn often wants weekly. From late autumn growth slows right down, so we usually stretch visits to three or four weeks over winter. We'll recommend a frequency when we quote rather than selling you visits you don't need.

Can I choose a regular schedule?

Yes. You're given a set service day so it becomes predictable — bins out, gate unlocked, done. Rounds are built suburb by suburb, so we'll offer the day that fits your area.

What happens if it rains?

Accepted Answer

Light rain isn't a problem and we'll usually still cut. If the ground is saturated, cutting wet grass would tear the lawn or rut the soil, so we'll shift you to the next suitable day and let you know by text — you won't be left wondering. Nothing is charged for a visit that doesn't happen.

Do you offer flexible appointments?

We do. Need to skip a fortnight while you're away, bring a visit forward before an inspection, or add a hedge to the next round? A quick call or message is all it takes. Notice by the day before is ideal so we can adjust the run.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Accepted Answer

Yes — commercial mowers, edgers, blowers, hedge trimmers and vacuum gear, all serviced on a schedule with blades kept sharp. We're fully self-sufficient, so we never need your power, water or tools.

Will you remove green waste?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Clippings, prunings and hedge trimmings leave with us as part of the quoted price unless you'd prefer we fill your green bin. For large clean-ups where volume is significant, any tip fees are included in the written quote up front.

Question 17

How should I prepare before your visit?

Accepted Answer

Very little is needed. Unlock the side gate or leave the code, pick up dog toys, hoses and pet waste if you can, and move cars off the nature strip if we're edging there. Anything left in the way we'll simply work around and put back.

What if something gets damaged?

We tell you straight away, photograph it, and repair or replace it. It's rare, and it's covered — we'd much rather have an awkward phone call than have you find it later.

Can I enquire if I'm outside the listed service area?

Please do. Our rounds grow with demand, and if there's already work near you we can often add your property straight away. If not, we'll be upfront rather than stringing you along.

Question 21

Do you charge travel fees?

Accepted Answer

No travel or callout fees anywhere in our standard service area. The quoted price is the price. For properties well outside it, we'd tell you at quote stage if travel made a difference rather than adding it to an invoice later.

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

Invoices are emailed after each visit with bank transfer and card payment options. Regular clients can be set up on automatic card payment, and property managers and body corporates can be invoiced monthly across multiple sites.

How will you keep me updated?

You'll get an arrival window the day before your visit and a short note afterwards if there's anything worth flagging — a dry patch appearing, a hedge due for a trim, a gutter starting to fill. Calls and messages are answered by Samuel, who knows your property, not a call centre.

How do I know you'll actually turn up?

It's the thing we're judged on most. Rounds are built with realistic travel time so we're not cutting corners to catch up, and if weather moves your visit you'll hear from us before you notice. Our reviews page is the fairest place to check that claim.

What if I'm not happy with a visit?

Tell us before you tell Google. We'll come back and put it right at no charge — that's the arrangement, and it's a big part of why clients stay on with us.
