Most properties end up on an ongoing schedule rather than one-off visits, and that's usually what the customer prefers. A regular round means the lawn never gets away from you, so each visit is straightforward and the finish stays even.
A typical arrangement looks like this: weekly or fortnightly lawn mowing and edging through the growing season, dropping back over winter when local lawns slow down; hedge trimming a couple of times a year; a bigger pruning visit in late winter; and gutter cleaning before storm season. You approve it once and Samuel manages the calendar from there.
Because it's the same person on site each visit, the property gets learned — where the irrigation sits, which gate the dog can open, the bed that holds water after rain, the patch of couch that scalps if it's cut too low. That's the edge a small local business can offer.
There's no lock-in contract. We'd rather earn the next visit than hold anyone to one.

Garden clean up
Courtyard garden bed reset
Two narrow courtyard beds had been overrun by weeds and creeping growth, with clippings and debris scattered across the paving.
The beds were cleared by hand so the roots came out with the weeds rather than snapping off at the surface. The brick edging was uncovered and reset, the soil turned over and levelled, and the paving swept down before we left. The bed is now a clean planting base, not something the owner has to fight every few weeks.
